How to prepare a hodgepodge?

To please your man with a hearty lunch or dinner, it is not necessary to prepare a lot of various dishes and spend the whole day at the stove. Enough to prepare a hodgepodge according to one of our recipes. Just follow the instructions, and a nourishing hodgepodge will be ready in an hour or two.

How to cook a hodgepodge meat team


(indicated on the 4 liter pot)

  • beef - 500 gr;
  • 6-7 kinds of meat delicacies (shink, ham, neck, balyk, pork chop, smoked sausages, for example) - each 100 gr;
  • onion - 2 pcs;
  • carrots - 1 pc;
  • tomato paste - 4 tablespoons;
  • pickled cucumbers - 200 gr;
  • bay leaf - 3 pieces;
  • vegetable oil - 4 tablespoons;
  • lemon and black olives for decoration;
  • salt and spices to taste.


  1. Cook beef broth. To do this, cook the beef in water under the lid for 1.5 hours. Periodically remove the foam.
  2. When the meat is cooked, remove it from the broth.
  3. Cut the ingredients into cubes: onion, cold beef, deli meats, pickled cucumbers. Grate carrots.
  4. Fry the onions, carrots, then add cucumbers to them and cook another 2 minutes.
  5. Put the tomato paste in the same pan, simmer everything on low heat for 5 minutes.
  6. In beef broth, place the beef and meat delicacies, bring to a boil and leave to boil for 7 minutes.
  7. Then put cucumbers, onions and carrots in a saucepan. Also add 100 ml of cucumber pickle from a jar of cucumbers. Boil solyanka 7 minutes.
  8. Now add spices, salt and bay leaves to the soup. Do not overdo it with salt, try it, because meat delicacies can be very salty.
  9. Turn off the stove and let the brew stand for 30 minutes.
  10. To decorate the hodgepodge in each plate, you can add olives and half a slice of lemon.

How to make a hodgepodge team fish


(indicated on the 3 liter pot)

  • fillet of fresh sea fish - 400 gr;
  • salted fish fillet - 100 gr;
  • smoked fish fillet - 100 gr;
  • tomato paste - 3 tablespoons;
  • onion - 2 pcs;
  • pickled cucumbers - 200 gr;
  • vegetable oil - 50 g;
  • lemon, sour cream and olives for decoration;
  • salt and spices to taste.


  1. Cut all the fish into small enough cubes.
  2. Fry chopped onion until golden brown in vegetable oil.
  3. Add the tomato paste to the onions, leave to cook for another 4 minutes.
  4. Pour water into the pan (2 l). When it boils, put raw fish into it. Boil it for 5 minutes after boiling.
  5. Add smoked and salted fish to the pan. Bring to a boil and cook for another 2 minutes.
  6. Next, dip in the soup onion with tomato paste and sliced ​​cucumbers. Boil solyanka for another 10 minutes.
  7. Turn off the stove, let the soup infuse for 20 minutes.
  8. Decorate plates with hodgepodge with olives, sour cream and half a slice of lemon.

The original dish will be a hodgepodge of cabbage.
