How to tame a rabbit?

Quite a few give birth as a pet decorative rabbits. At first they are very shy and distrustful of their new owners. Therefore, it is important to know how to tame a rabbit.

Taming the rabbit

In order for the rabbit to become tame, it needs regular attention. In the first days you should not try to take him in your arms. Communicate better through the cell grid. Talk to him and, if possible, iron your fur. When the rabbit comes closer, give him some treats, such as a piece of apple or carrot.

After a few days, the rabbit will get used to your presence and attention, which means it will behave more calmly. Do not waste time, open the cage and take your pet in your arms, but do it right. Do not drag him from the mink by the ears, this will hurt him, and also damage the muscles and membranes. Grab a rabbit's chest with your hand, gently lift it and pull it to itself. You can immediately start stroking it, but do it according to the growth of the fur - from the head to the tail.

Rabbit training

Many rabbit owners begin to train them over time. First of all, it is recommended to teach your pet to respond to its name. To do this, every day, contact him by his nickname and show him a treat, so that he ran to you. Already after 1-2 weeks of regular classes, you can achieve excellent results.

Then you can begin to teach the rabbit jumps. Plant it in front of the hoop, and behind it hold the treat. Then wait until the pet jumps over the hoop and entertain him for it. Repeat such a lesson until it becomes clear to the rabbit what the master requires of him. Similarly, you can teach him to do the stand, push the ball with the spout and jump over obstacles.
