What is fake?

Fake is a fake in the broad sense of the word. The term comes from the English "fake", which means "fake, fake, fake."

What is fake today?

Today, the word fake is most common in the media and Internet environment. This word can most often be heard in the address:

  • Photos forged in a graphic editor and exhibited in one place or another (social network, publication in the media, etc.) as real. Modern technologies allow you to fake and video, the main thing is to have appropriate skills in the necessary program.
  • Fake news - "newspaper ducks", which are issued for the truth. Quite often, fake news can be found on social networks, but many users, without thinking about their truthfulness at all, believe in them, with the result that such news is gaining a lot of reposts and likes.
  • Unreal pages on social networks - as a rule, are created by ordinary people who want to impersonate a famous person (most often fakes of this nature can be found on the social network VKontakte).Today, each "star" on their official website publishes real accounts on social networks, so that users subscribe to their pages, and not to fake ones.

Beware scammers!

There are both innocent fake pages and those that can do harm. For example, some fake famous person can mark on his page a link to an effective weight loss recipe, but when the user follows the link, he will receive not a prescription, but a virus.
