When to replace the currants?

Amateur gardeners often ask a question about when to replace a currant? The most favorable time for this work is autumn and spring. But autumn is the most suitable for this plant, because it is cold-resistant, and if it is planted in spring, it will grow very early. If the transplant is done in the fall, then it is best to transplant currants before the cold comes. Otherwise, the currant will not have time to take root, and there is a threat of freezing.

Replace the black currant in shaded places, and red and white where there is sun. The distance between the bushes should be 1-1.5 meters, the depth of the pit - 30-40 centimeters.

Repot the bushes when they completely discard the leaves. Do not forget about abundant watering. Currant bushes will thank you for your hard work with a bountiful harvest.
